Actually they aren't playing over their heads. They are doing this with most of their players having subpar seasons other then Longoria. That is the kind of impart Longo has had.
With plenty of gas still in the tank with Price/Davis and tons of chips to trade for immediate help. The defense and bullpen have been outstanding. They may not make the playoffs due to the competition but they are not a bad team.

Didn't people say that in April, May, June? There are only 64 games left. I think we can say the Rays are pretty good.
