Fantasy Resource Allocation

by Will Carroll

Rather than a boring discussion of fantasy resource allocation, it's much, much easier to just show you:

Hope that helps.

Wow ... I put up the video and it was almost immediately pulled down as a "violation." Looks like ESPN doesn't allow even a screencast of their stuff (the video uses the ESPN fantasy page to show things ...) I'm talking to YouTube now and hopefully can get this straightened out.

Yeah, I've made my "living" in fantasy baseball for years by ignoring pitchers during the draft and climbing up the board mid-season by picking up free agent low ERA, low WHIP pitchers. This works because most other managers tend to value wins and strikeouts above the other two pitching stats, but pitchers on bad teams still have value if they can get hitters out.

Good points, though. I might have improved it by putting the stats into a spreadsheet and illustrating real-time what a 3-place (or 9 save, or 0.3 ERA) improvement would mean for your standings.

If it's not too much trouble, can you guys put the sexy pics "after the jump", so that us guys at work here don't have to explain things to our overseers?

Tom, you have a job??

Meh -- good point, but building out a spreadsheet would be, um, effort. A one take test of screencasting? Yeah, that's the kind of effort you get here! Get what you pay for :)

Who the hell is the guy with 260 something moves before the ASB? Good God, I want to see a fantasy strategy movie from that guy.

Vockins -- he's doing the pump and dump with three and four slots of his staff every day and will drop guys to cover off-days when possible in his hitting. VERY odd, esp since we have a 180 start cap. He's already at like 140. Of course, he's ahead of me so I shouldn't say boo.
