Last year, in a weird online letter exchange that was meant to be private but ended up in the Akron Beacon Journal, Sheldon Ocker and I had a disagreement about the likelihood of C.C. Sabathia ending up hurt. While I still believe I was right on my suspicions, Ocker was right on his end of the bet. I'm not yet ready to say that Sabathia is a "freak" of the Livan-Schilling school, but I'm less sure that he's not. Mr. Ocker, tell me where to send the check.
