Check this link for some comedy, some baseball, and yes, some politics. You'll see a great Daily Show clip and Nate Silver's appearance on The Colbert Report. (Obama, a White Sox fan, is not going to be happy that his future Treasury Secretary just compared him to the team that knocked the Sox out of the playoffs.)
Nate says McCain is batting in the bottom of the ninth and Sarah Palin just got picked off first. He should know better! I compared the Win Expectancy of Home; Inning: 9th; score: -2; bases: empty; outs: 1, and it's quite a bit worse than McCain's current chances according to fivethirtyeight.com.
But if Nate had offered the same situation but in the eighth, then he would have come very close to McCain's Win Expectancy.
